Audience Development & Marketing

Audience Agency – charity that helps cultural organisations know and grow their audiences that offer a range of research reports, case studies, how-to guides, audience development planning toolkit and more.

 

Access

Unlimited – resources for artists, creatives, producers and the sector including accessible recruitment, creating Access riders, putting on accessible events, accessible arts marketing, commissioning and contracting and much more.

Shape Arts – access guides including access as a creative tool, Access to Work, putting on accessible events, accessible arts marketing and working with disabled artists and participants.

Ramps on the Moon – growing bank of curated information and tips on how best to integrate access into your work or organisation.

Attitude is Everything – resources available that shine a light on how to make venues and events more inclusive for disabled audiences.

Stagetext – resources to help you understand more about your deaf, deafened and hard of hearing audiences, as well as handy how-to guides to make your work accessible to many more people.

The Space – digital agency that offers a range of resources to help you create and distribute digital cultural content and build online audiences.

 

Environmental Responsibility  

Theatre Green Book – The Theatre Green Book sets out the path to a sustainable future with guides to sustainable productions, buildings and operations.

Julie’s Bicycle – offers a resource hub for practical tool, case studies and support on how to measure impact and take climate action.

 

Fundraising

The Uncultured – are two freelance arts producers and facilitators. The Uncultured have created a brilliant Arts Council England Project Grant application template that you should definitely use and a financial planner amongst other things.

Christina Poulton – is a freelance consultant and former Exec Director of Strike A Light. Christina has created really useful guides and templates for writing funding bids and applying to Arts Council England

 

Producing and Production

Without Walls – good for guides on making work outdoors including access, audience development and making work sustainably.

Bradford Producing hub – great guide for making work outdoors including useful templates for budgets, risk assessments, method statements.
