Future Radicals
Future Radicals is an exciting summer project working with the young people of South Ward in Weston to reimagine their town, throwing the rule book out the window and challenging the notion that ‘adults know best’. Artists Ramona Bigwood and Carson Parkin-Fairley will be running a week’s worth of colourful and creative workshops, to gather research on how the future of residents of the town would like to see it changed.
If you fancy yourself a future radical, then sign up for any of these workshops in the For All Healthy Living Centre (68 Lonsdale Road, Weston-super-Mare BS23 3SJ) and join the revolution! You can either sign-up in person at the reception desk at the For All Healthy Living Centre, or via contacting sophie@superculture.org.uk.
Please note that all sessions are free of charge and will be conducted within Covid Safe guidelines.
Monday 2 August: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
Tuesday 3 August: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
Wednesday 4 August: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
Thursday 5 August: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
Then on Friday 6 August join a celebratory parade of all the work that has been produced!
