I moved to Weston for university a few years back, and admired how passionate the community was about growing and transforming the artistic landscape here. I knew it was something I had to be a part of! Working with Culture Weston gives me the opportunity to engage the inspiring and amazing local creative community with fantastic events and experiences, which is something I feel very passionate about. I feel so lucky to be part of the ever-expanding artistic world of Weston.

I have a background in contemporary devised theatre, and I have toured two original shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 & 19, with rave reviews. After doing this, I decided to make the shift from performing to producing, as I realised through all the craziness of Fringe planning, that this is where the excitement lies for me in theatre.

My main aspiration is to produce new work coming out of the area. I produce Weston’s monthly cabaret show From The Mud, which sees local emerging artists throwing themselves up on stage month after month to show you the whacky and the wonderful! This has been a real passion project of mine, beginning in lockdown on zoom, and blossoming into amazing sell-out live events.

I am so excited that I am able to gain experience and expand my skill set through my position here at Culture Weston, and I can’t wait to see where it leads me next!
